According to police in Dickie County, Amanda Rall, 25, broke into her boyfriend's house while he was asleep on March 22. She then comped down on what the police report describes as "his private area".

The boyfriend, who was awakened by the experience of having his genitals bitten, called the police and was taken to the hospital for treatment, according to local news reports.

Ms. Rall was subsequently released on bail, and is awaiting her first appearance in court.

The notion that men act a little stupid around women is pretty much accepted throughout the world as a truism.

Now, scientists in Austria say their research shows that sharing a bed with someone temporarily reduces men's brain power. Specifically, they say that when men spend the night with someone their sleep is disturbed, whether they make love or not, and this impairs their mental ability the next day.

According to the New Scientist study, women who share a bed fare better because they sleep more deeply. Professor Gerhard Kloesch and colleagues at the University of Vienna studied eight unmarried, childless couples in their 20s. Each couple was asked to spend 10 nights sleeping together and 10 apart while the scientists assessed their rest patterns with questionnaires and wrist activity monitors.

The next day the couples were asked to perform simple cognitive tests and had their stress hormone levels checked. Although the men reported they had slept better with a partner, they fared worse in the tests, with their results suggesting they actually had more disturbed sleep. But women apparently managed to sleep more deeply when they did eventually drop off, since they claimed to be more refreshed than their sleep time suggested.

Dr. Neil Stanley, a sleep expert at the University of Surrey, England, said: "Historically, we have never been meant to sleep in the same bed as each other. It is a bizarre thing to do. Sharing the bed space with someone who is making noises and who you have to fight with for the duvet is not sensible."

One such man was recently charged with theft and burglary after police said they found 93 pounds of women's panties, brassieres and other underwear at his home.

Investigators believe Garth M. Flaherty, 24, of Pullman, Washington, took as many as 1,500 undergarments from apartment complex laundry rooms before he was caught, said Pullman police Commander Chris Tennant, adding that police found enough women's underwear in his bedroom to fill five garbage bags.

Flaherty was seen taking underwear from two laundry rooms, and a witness recorded his license number. That gave police what they needed and he was identified by witnesses from photographs. "He said he had a problem," said Tennant. Flaherty has been jailed on 12 counts of second-degree burglary and one of first-degree theft.

Police had previously received 12 reports of underwear thefts in the northeast part of Pullman, where Washington State University is located. "We were kind of concerned about how to match up bras and panties with victims," Tennant told local news media. "Based on the unique descriptions from a couple of women, we can tie him to those thefts."

The underwear will be held as evidence until the case is resolved, after which their disposition is uncertain, he said. "Would you really want them back?" Tennant asked. "I would say not."

Five U.S. soldiers were killed on Sunday by roadside bomb attacks in Iraq, the U.S. military said in a statement.

Four soldiers were killed north of Baghdad in Diyala, a restive province where U.S. commanders recently asked for more troops to fight al Qaeda and other militants.

Two more soldiers were wounded in the attack.

A fifth soldier was killed by a roadside bomb in northwest Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

A large group of naked people posed among the threatened oak trees at the University of California, Berkeley, this past weekend in the name of art and to save the oak trees. At least six protesters have been living in the trees since Dec. 2, protesting university's plan to raze the oaks and build a $125 million sports training facility at the edge of Memorial Stadium.

San Francisco Bay area photographer Jack Gescheidt, who creates artistic portraits of trees and nude people together, was on hand to photograph the protest. Gescheidt learned about the tree protesters in the news and, since his his work is about capturing the connection people have with trees, felt obliged to be on hand to support the effort to save the U.C. Berkeley oaks.

"I am drawn to this grove as a subject because as our cities grow, the small green spaces we have left become more and more precious resources. I think the struggle to preserve these oak trees is a clear result of that," he told local news media.

Meanwhile, the U.C. Berkeley police have cited and arrested people at the small oak grove for various offenses, and threatened to build a fence at the site.

Tree protesters said they plan to remain in the trees until they are forcibly removed. Construction of the proposed new building has been halted because three separate groups -- including the City of Berkeley -- have sued the university to stop the project. In February, an Alameda County Superior Court Judge issued a preliminary injunction preventing the university from breaking ground at the site or removing any trees.

The trial for the three lawsuits to save the oak trees is expected to begin no later than this summer.

Shakespeare might have called it much ado about nothing, but police officials in the Australian state of Victoria are looking into a female constable's bare breasts ... so to speak. Things Mr. Dillon has done while his spouse was shopping at our store:

1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they weren't looking.

2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in the House Wares department to go off at 5-minute intervals.

3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the ladies rest rooms.

4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official tone, "Code 3" in house wares ... and watched what happened.

5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and asked to put a bag of M&M's on layaway.

6. September 14: Moved a "CAUTION - WET FLOOR" sign to a carpeted area.

7. September 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told other shoppers he'd invite them in if they'll bring pillows from the bedding department.

8. September 23: When a clerk asks if they can help him, he begins to cry and asks, "Why can't you people just leave me alone?"

9. October 4: Looked right into the security camera; used it as a mirror, and picked his nose.

10. November 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, asked the clerk if he knows where the antidepressants are.

11. December 3: Darted around the store suspiciously loudly humming the "Mission Impossible" theme.

12. December 6: In the auto department, he practiced his "Madonna look" using different size funnels.

13. December 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browse through, yelled "PICK ME!" "PICK ME!"

14. December 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumes the fetal position and screams "NO! NO! It's those voices again!!"

And last, but not least ..

15. December 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited a while, then yelled very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here!"

Oh, those crazy moon-hopping kids! There’s something endearingly innocent about Doris Wishman’s ridiculous 1960 nude romp with a science fiction twist. The nation’s most brilliant young rocket scientist decides to build his own private rocket ship to the moon with his uncle’s inheritance and takes off secretly with his partner, a pipe-chomping professor. Much to their surprise, it turns out to be a lush landscape that looks suspiciously like Florida, with a nudist camp in a nearby crater stuffed with topless beauties, posed and poised and waiting for the cameras to click. “I feel like a schoolboy!” exclaims our hero. “Just remember,” the professor cautions, “we’re scientists.” To that end, he snaps as many photos as he can before their air runs out. One of Wishman’s best-looking films, it’s shot in soft, luscious color, which only makes it look more like a Vargas calendar come to life. The special effects are special only by virtue of their tinselly cheapness, and a cool vibes score accompanies the moon scenes. The print is remarkably well preserved, and the disc also features a cosmic-striptease short subject and a Doris Wishman poster gallery.

Astronauts discover a nudist camp on the moon! A brilliant young rocket scientist and his professor friend decide to build a spaceship and blast off to the moon. Donning idiotic pajama-like space suits, they land on the lunar surface and discover a nudist camp populated by shapely telepathic moon gals with antennae on their heads! After first being rendered helpless by a moon doll’s magic wand, the men are eventually allowed to wander about and witness the naked marvels of life in outer space. But, hey, doesn’t the Queen of the Moon look just like the professor’s secretary? “Nude on the Moon” is a hilarious Sci-Fi nudie-cutie from director Doris Wishman (billed here as “Anthony Brooks”), and filmed at Coral Castle, an extremely oddball tourist attraction in Homestead, Florida.

There are instances, when we can be our own worst enemies and one of those instances recently occurred in a courtroom in Ohio, USA. A music producer told a Hamilton County Judge Melba Marsh in court he has six children on the way - all with different women.

Ricky Lackey was asked by a judge how many children he had during sentencing on an attempted theft charge. Lackey, 25, of Cincinnati, told Judge Marsh: "None, but I have six on the way."

"Are you marrying a woman with six children?" asked the confused judge.

"No, I be concubining," he replied, according to local news reports.

Prosecutors said Lackey is the expectant father of six children with six different women. The women all are expected to deliver in August, September and October.

Lackey's lawyer stopped his client from saying more.

When Walters asked, “And there were things that were done that made you as a woman happy and content?” it took women under 40 a few moments before they realized to what Walters was so coyly referring. The women of Generation (Se)X don’t talk to each other like that. Even in public. They are a lot more explicit.
In Her Way, journalist Paula Kamen traces what she calls a sexual evolution, a slow but profound change in how women relate to their sexualities. Thirtysomething Kamen uses surveys (some more scientific than others), scholarly and popular literature, pop entertainment, and her own open-ended interviews with a wide variety of women to paint a picture of younger women who are more confident about their sexual selves (be they virginal or promiscuous) and in negotiating what they want in bed and their love relationships.
In keeping with the book’s sex-positive message, the emphasis is on women’s agency and on further possibilities for broadly satisfying sexual and interpersonal relationships. There is little about, for example, sexual violence, including date rape. Kamen has distilled a wealth of research in an engaging and accessible form, and she does not shy away from a more subtle commentary that notes the persistence of a sexual double standard for men and women.
